In 2022, during the BC Earthquake Alliance’s strategic refresh, three key priorities were established.  They are:

 

1.  Strengthening Governance

 

2.  Expanding activities throughout the year.  This includes sustaining the success of the Great BC ShakeOut and undertaking year round activities that include amplification of Tsunami Awareness Week and Emergency Preparedness Week. 

 

3.  The board is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.  We are working with our partners to engage with and expand our reach to underserved communities with a view to strengthening the culture of earthquake and tsunami preparedness more broadly in British Columbia.
